Student Success Tips

Students should check Canvas EVERY DAY for Assignments that are due!  

Students should take home their instruments and practice at home for at least 30 minutes EVERY DAY.

If a student is interested in taking private lessons, reach out to me so we can find a good teacher for them.

Students are encouraged to attend:

•  Tuesday Morning Warm-Up from 7am - 8:30am
• Tuesday & Thursday Lunch Practice

Students are expected to attend any after school rehearsals that are scheduled.  These are scheduled 1-2 times per week throughout the school year.

For these Rehearsals, Students are expected to wear appropriate clothing or lose points off their grade.  Appropriate clothing includes: Athletic Shirt, Athletic Shorts, and socks/shoes.  

Students also MUST have a 1/2 gallon water jug with them.

Students are expected to have all materials to be successful.  If financial concerns apply, please let me know.

For Football Games, Students are expected to have: 

• Marching Band Uniform
• Long Black Socks
• Marching Band Shoes (Dinkles)
• Flip Folder & Lyre
• 1/2 Gallon Water Jug
